Diary update, watercolour

7th November

I have at last finished this painting, that I started months ago.!

It is I admit a highly detailed painting, where I tried to capture the low sunlight, that often sweeps appealing through the windows of the barn building, highlighting the intricate textiles and Indian artefacts that surround The Golden Buddha statue.

The Golden Buddha inside the shop stands guarding the doorway, we have had a lot of offers to buy this particular Buddha, and now I know it is sold, I have had to take photographs, so I can work on the final painting in my studio, and during the day, try to take note of the patina of the statue.

The Golden Buddha Statue and close up view, worked onto Arches Hot Pressed paper ( 600 grams)
